Project
Batumi Boulevard
The development of an approximately 2-kilometre section of the Batumi Boulevard seafront involved a full-scale infrastructural and urban renewal. The aim of the project was to create a functional, aesthetic and durable public space that would serve both city residents and tourists alike.
The works covered the complete planning of the area: laying high-durability paving tiles designed for intensive pedestrian traffic, integrating green zones, installing lighting elements and blending harmoniously with the seafront architecture. The tiles were laid in a configuration that provides both visual dynamism and safe movement in every season.
The main challenge was carrying out the works on an operating boulevard — alongside heavy pedestrian flows, maritime climate conditions (humidity, salty air) and tight deadlines. An additional difficulty was optimising machinery and logistics so as not to disrupt the boulevard’s day-to-day functioning.
The result is a modern, durable and visually refined seafront space that is today an important part of Batumi’s urban identity.
