Project

Poti

The project was carried out in the city of Poti — home to the largest and most strategically important seaport in Georgia, which serves as the country’s main logistics hub. The Port of Poti is a place where containers, liquids, dry cargo and various types of industrial shipments are handled intensively every day. In such an environment, the durability, safety and long-term reliability of the infrastructure are critically important factors.

Within the project, full-scale paving of the port area and its surroundings was carried out, with a total area of 45,000 square metres. The works were planned and executed with the specifics of the port in mind — heavy-load transport, the continuous movement of heavy machinery and intensive operating conditions required the use of top-quality materials and technical solutions.

For the paving, the 10-centimetre Uni Colloc tile was selected, designed specifically for heavy loads. This product stands out for its high strength, stability and durability, making it the ideal choice for an environment such as a port, where trucks, container handlers and specialised machinery operate. The design of the tiles ensures even load distribution and significantly reduces the risk of deformation and damage over a long service life.

During the implementation of the project, particular attention was paid to both technical precision and the speed of the works, so that the port’s day-to-day operations would be restricted as little as possible. The resulting infrastructure fully complies with international standards and provides a safe, efficient and sustainable environment for transport and logistics operations.

This project is an example of how the combination of quality materials, the right technical solutions and professional execution can create infrastructure that will withstand the heaviest loads without problems for years and make a significant contribution to developing the country’s logistics potential.
